FAQ
I offer private volleyball lessons for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether the athlete is a beginner or looking to refine their skills, I tailor each session to meet their specific needs.
Lessons are held at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 Manchester Road, Wheaton.
Players should wear comfortable athletic clothing, proper volleyball shoes, and bring a water bottle.
Standard lessons are 60 minutes, 90 and 120 minute sessions are offered upon request.
I teach players of all skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to advanced players seeking to fine-tune their technique. Each lesson is customized based on the player’s experience and goals.
The number of lessons depends on the player’s current skill level and goals. Some players may improve with just a few sessions, while others may benefit from ongoing lessons. After the first lesson, I can offer guidance on how many sessions are recommended.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
I assess each player’s current skill level and goals during the first session. From there, I create a personalized lesson plan focusing on areas such as serving, passing, setting, hitting, and overall volleyball strategy.
No experience is required! I work with beginners and can help you build a strong foundation in the sport. For more advanced players, I focus on improving specific skills.
Yes, you are welcome to observe the lesson from the sidelines. However, to ensure your child is fully engaged, I recommend limiting distractions during the session.
That’s completely normal! I create a supportive and encouraging environment where players feel comfortable and confident. I’ll help your child progress at their own pace, focusing on positive reinforcement.
